In August I hunted antelope with a bow for the first time at Table Mountain Outfitters in Wyoming. We sat in a ground blind near a water hole with temperatures soaring into the high 80s.
Sheep were the first to arrive for a drink, followed by a roaming dog that protects the sheep from coyotes.
Finally a few speed goats showed up and I was able to make a good shot with my Mathews bow on one antelope broadside at 20 yards.
Angie Denny (right) and her husband Scott run a great outfit. They guide for several species in more than one state. If you are looking for a great hunt I can highly recommend Table Mountain Outfitters.
